Xmas Table tasting night

Join the team at Tognini’s for an informal night of tasting to assist in placing your Christmas order. Tastings will be all of Tognini’s handmade goodies from succulent ham, delicately cured salmon to fruit mince pies and much much more. To kick off the Christmas spirit all orders finalised on the night will recieve a 10% discount*. We look forward to seeing you there!

For the past five years Tognini’s Cheese Club has been bringing regular cheese boxes to cheese lovers around Australia – from the inner city to the outback. Making it even easier, our new updated Cheese Club offer includes three new classic boxes available anytime with just five days notice.

New lunch menu @ Spring Hill

From our new Spring Hill lunch menu – Squid ink spaghetti with fresh herbs and chilli with grilled sardine fillets. Available from 11am to 3pm. The menu has a real Italian flavour – look for saffron risotto w chilli prawns (see the recipe), Enrico’s homemade potato gnocchi w gorgonzola piccante cream and crab + courgette ravioli w champagne four + chervil.

Cheese of the month: Fleur du Marquis

This flavoursome French cheese has been absent for a while because of a ban on unpasteurised milk products, but is once again in store. Made from sheep’s milk, it has an exterior crust that is coated with dried rosemary, thyme, coriander seeds, juniper berries and pepper. You can eat the crust, but it’s bitter. The inside of the cheese is snowy white, cream moist and soft when it’s young and gets whiter and runnier as it ages.
