It's hopping good at Tognini's for Easter |
| |
| |
| We've had an express delivery from the Easter bunny of a great range of treats sure to put a smile on everyone's face. Colourful rainbow eggs, hazelnut praline hidden inside a real egg exterior and choc bunnies are ready and waiting for their Easter Sunday release – hope you can wait that long! |

New menu @ Tognini's Trattoria, Spring Hill |
| |
The Trattoria menu has moved into autumn, starting early April, with
new additions to the menu that will keep your taste buds guessing. |
| |
| |
| For breakfast try the slow roasted tomato with manchego cheese and rocket or the brioche with burnt honey pears and vanilla ricotta mascarpone. |
| For lunch try the maple pork belly with red pear, pecan and watercress salad, or the swordfish and scallops carpaccio with blood orange and fennel tips. Pasta lovers will feast on the paccari e agnello (pasta & braised lamb in white wine) and the sand crab ravioli with cream, white wine, fennel and preserved lemon. |
| Doing dinner? Can't go past the hand cut fettucine with poached duck, beans and buffalo parmesan or the pork loin cutlets with roast butternut pumpkin, apple and pinenut butter. |
| When it comes to dessert, and doesn't it always come to dessert, Narelle's picks are the lemoncello poached meringue pie with pistachio praline or the chocolate fondant with vanilla bean ice cream and orange sable. |

This year's long Easter break makes a perfect opportunity for
families and friends to entertain and enjoy a relaxing feast. |

| And there's no better way to relax than with good food prepared or sourced from Tognini's. Don't tell the kids, but we're eating bunny this Easter with lots of rabbit on our menu available precooked or raw to take home and cook. You can start with rabbit and amaretto currant terrine and continue with braised rabbit in red wine, olives, garlic, tomatoes and root vegetables accompanied by a nice wet polenta. |
| There's also our house smoked salmon, roasted stuffed spatchcock and an organic pork rack. Most are available cooked or raw so you can cook them in your own oven and amaze your guests. |
| To finish we have Easter cakes decorated to reflect the season – including a raspberry butter cake, flourless chocolate cake, white mud cake or traditional Simnel cake. And who could resist the hand-made raspberry meringue clouds. |

| Here's a combo that will rock their socks off! Start with a platter filled with rabbity goodness - Rabbit + amaretto, currant terrine, some rabbit rillettes and wild mushroom pate for good measure. Follow with a simple salad of Hot smoked salmon with potato and bean nicoise – recipe here. |
| For your main – try a whole braised rabbit in red wine with olives, garlic, tomatoes and root vegetables from our Easter Order Form. Simply gently reheat this while you are making a nice wet polenta to accompany the dish – recipe here. |
| There's a range of choices for the finale. Our mini Easter cakes - Raspberry Butter cake, White Mud cake or Easter Flourless Chocolate cake - are perfect for celebrating any time over the Easter break. Each cake serves 6- 8 people and is beautifully decorated with the Easter theme - a lovely centrepiece for the table. We also have Traditional Simnel Cake and Tognini's hand-made, light as air, raspberry meringue clouds – recipe here. Place your orders early to avoid disappointment. |
