Tasman Sea Salt's evaporation process utilises a combination of solar energy and thermal energy from the air and sea to evaporate fresh water in an energy efficient way. Their salt is made from unwashed and untreated water - filtered for weed, sand and residue but otherwise totally pure. The minerals and nutrients found in the water give Tasman Sea Salt its distinctive flavour.
